Your wedding is one of the few days in life when every small detail carries meaning. The names lettered on a custom wedding banner, the runner that catches the light at the sweetheart table, the backdrop behind your ceremony, the chair sign that quietly honors someone you wish were here. At OtterMia, we make those small things, one order at a time.

Every piece in our wedding collection is made-to-order in our workshop. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. When you place your order, the team begins your piece, letters your names, and sends it to you in 5 to 11 business days. We are based in the United States and we ship within the United States.

1. Made just for you
Here is how it works. You choose a style, send us the names, dates, or short message you want lettered, and approve the photo or note you would like us to include. Our workshop completes your piece in 2 to 4 business days. Standard shipping adds 3 to 7 business days for a total of 5 to 11 business days from the day you order. If something is unclear in your details, we will reach out by email before we start.

A note on fabric and material. Each piece is made just for you. Depending on the item and workshop availability, your product may use soft cotton linen blend, smooth peach skin fabric, or another material shown on the product page. We list material details on each listing so there are no surprises.

2. Find your style

These are the pieces our couples come back for most often. Each one is personalized with names, dates, locations, or a short message you choose.

4. Honoring loved ones
For many couples, a wedding is also a quiet moment of remembrance. We make memorial chair signs and ribbons that hold a place for someone you wish were there. Lettered gently, with the name and a short line you choose. "Forever in our hearts." "Watching from above." "Always with us." Whatever feels right.

5. When to order
Production takes 2 to 4 business days. Shipping adds 3 to 7 business days. For the best chance of receiving your piece before your wedding, please order at least 16 business days before the date. For peak wedding months (June, July, August, September), we recommend ordering 3 to 4 weeks ahead so you receive your piece with calm time to set everything up.

We currently ship within the United States only. Standard shipping rates are based on package weight and are shown at checkout. Sales tax may apply based on your state.

6. Couples often ask
A few questions we hear most often.

What size should I choose? The size chart on each product page gives the dimensions and the typical use case. For banners and backdrops, think about where guests will stand, where photos will be taken, and how far away the lettering needs to be read. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the space and we will recommend a size by email.

Can I use my own photo? Some products support photo upload. Those listings have the word "photo" in the title and a photo upload field on the product page. For best results, send a clear, well-lit image, 300 DPI or higher. We will email you a preview before printing if anything needs adjustment.

How long will customization take? Lettering and personalization are part of the standard 2 to 4 business day workshop time. We do not charge extra for personalization.

Why do you mention materials on each product page? Wedding items can vary by product type and workshop stock. Some use cotton linen blend, some use peach skin fabric, and some decor pieces may use another material shown on the listing. The product page is the source for the exact item you are ordering.

Can I rush my order? If your wedding is close, email cs@ottermia.com before placing the order with the date. We will tell you honestly whether we can make it, and we will not take the order if we cannot deliver on time.

Is a memorial chair sign appropriate for our wedding? Many couples include one. It is a quiet, personal way to honor someone. If you have questions about wording or placement, email us. We have helped many couples through this and we are happy to talk it through with you.
