Data Deletion Instructions

At OtterMia, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of any personal information we have collected about you, whether through our website, our Facebook and Instagram presence, or any of our connected services.

1. What Data We May Have About You
Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may store the following: order information (name, shipping address, email, phone number, items ordered, and any custom artwork or photos you uploaded for personalization); account information if you created an account on ottermia.com; communication records (emails or messages you sent us through customer support, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram DMs); and marketing preferences if you subscribed to our email newsletter. We do not use the Facebook Login feature on our website, and we do not collect data from your personal Facebook profile when you visit our pages.

2. How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To request that we delete your personal information, please email us at cs@ottermia.com. In your email, please include: the subject line "Data Deletion Request"; your full name; the email address you used when ordering or signing up; your order number if you remember it; and your Facebook or Instagram username if your request relates to a message or comment on our social media.

3. What Happens Next
We will confirm we received your request within 3 business days. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of confirming your identity. Some information may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes), but it will not be used for marketing or any other purpose. Once deletion is complete, we will email you a confirmation.

4. Data Held by Facebook or Instagram
If you want to delete data that Facebook or Instagram themselves hold about you (for example, your profile, your messages, or your activity on Meta platforms), you must request that directly from Meta. You can delete your Facebook account at facebook.com/help/delete_account and your Instagram account at help.instagram.com/139877899630652. OtterMia cannot delete data stored on Meta's servers. Only Meta can do that.
